About us
The Jiskřička children's choir was founded in 1985 by choir director Dana Škardová. In June 2012, Anna Nebáznivá took over as choir director.
Jiskřička is made up of children from four sections — junior and senior preparatory choir, concert choir, and chamber choir. The choir is based in Prague – Uhříněves, at ZŠ Nám. bří Jandusů primary school.
The concert choir brings together children aged 8–14. The choir holds summer and winter rehearsal retreats, performs at public concerts and major city events, and has toured abroad (Dresden 2012, Bratislava 2019).

- December 2017 and 2018 — performed with Richard Pachman at a charity concert in Uhříněves
- December 2019 — release concert for the choir's CD "Co zpíváme rádi"
- A long-standing tradition of singing at memorial ceremonies and civic occasions held by the Prague 22 district

Do you like singing? Want to make new friends? Ongoing enrollment by prior arrangement during a rehearsal slot, accompanied by a parent or guardian, at the DPS Jiskřička rehearsal room in ZŠ Nám. Bří Jandusů (main building).
We are enrolling new young singers into our preparatory choirs. Trial lessons take place in September.
Choir director
Mgr. Anna Nebáznivá
She took over the choir in June 2012 and directs all four sections. Her focus is on vocal technique, musical listening and expression, and the personal development of each child.
Many years of singing experience as a member of mixed, women's, and children's choirs.
Music education
- Master's degree in Music Education and Choral Conducting, Faculty of Education, Charles University
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education – Choral Conducting, Faculty of Education, Charles University
- Conservatory diploma (ZUŠ) in piano performance and solo voice
